Mistake on credit file, how to rectify?

Hi everyone,

EE have left a missed / late payment note in my credit file in Sep last year, after advising me via email to cancel my direct debit in early Sep (following the CISAS case which forced EE to refund all charges since April).

Wondering if anyone know how to get this sorted out and whom to contact? Many thanks in advance.

As a starting point I would telephone EE.

If that doesn't get it rectified then try writing a formal complaint to them.
