Accounts for Euro

My daughter works on a cruise ship and gets paid in euros into her English bank account it is then converted into pounds last year this wasn't too bad but now the euro is so good to the pound her conversion will be very poor. What would be the best account to get for this.

If you want to find a bank offering a better conversion rate, then all are about equally bad.

If you want an account in €, see the recent threads:

How do I get a € Euro bank account?

Don't expect to find anything really good.

Lloyds International have Bonus Saver account in EUR.

    international.lloydsbank.com/international-savings/bonus-saver/

They claim no charges for sending or receiving funds but check if they can transfer direct to your destination bank rather than via correspondence banks which might add a charge. Maybe test the transfer. I think BACS transfers to UK banks are free of charge.
  • Help..

I get paid in euros into my U.K account, I work for a Luxembourg employer. At the moment with the exchange rate I'm losing 100's of pounds each month.

Anyone have any suggestion on what is my best move..

Or if there is a better account to be using.
    Thank you..

If you are losing 100s because the exchange rate is generally poor at the moment, you can't solve this by changing your account. Either get a € account and keep euros in a hope that the rate will improve in the future or accept the current rate.

By changing your account you can only decrease the commission your bank charges for the conversion, but it's pretty much the same at all banks.

You can save on commission if your employer can use alternative services for paying you rather than a bank transfer:
