I've just shown this thread to my daughter. You say you don't think he would plant drugs. My daughter's response was that you didn't think he would go to the police with false allegations.

Have you had a Carer's Assessment carried out? The council have an obligation to do this if you request it. It looks at how they might be able to help you. Unfortunately, it doesn't always lead to any practical help, but it's still worth requesting just in case there is some help available.

You could also ask about respite for your autistic children. Even though you would still have the other three, you might cope better. Just knowing that you will have a break for a few hours, or overnight, can give you a chance to recharge your batteries. there might be holiday care available for the disabled children as well.

Do you have a disability social worker? If not, contact your Children with Disabilities team at the local council. Their help can be invaluable.

For £9.25 you can get a replacement birth certificate, no hassle.

(Apologies if your birth isn't UK registered and this isn't helpful)

He may treat them like his kids, and they may view him like their father, but you may find you are leaving them with someone who does not have parental responsibility, and who has shown himself to be unstable.

I think it does matter whether or not they are his.

I'm sorry - but there is no way in this world that I would leave my children - two of whom are more vulnerable than most - with someone with as many mental health problems as you have described. It could put the children's lives in jeopardy.

He has already accused you of goodness knows what - it could happen again.

You may need a break - but the children deserve more than this.
