I'm cross with myself today I seem to be in binge mode this week, need to pull myself out of it. .... Then kettle and stay away from Easter eggs
Can I hide the tins of Twinks in this house in the same place as your Easter eggs so that we can stay away from them together?mummyroysof3 wrote: »Does anyone know best think to remove old sellotape marks off upvc door and window frames please?
Either an expensive bottle of $ticky $tuff R3mov3r from Bee and Queue or a cheap bottle of turps - on a dab of cotton wool. Works on sticky marks that are years old, too, although that takes some serious rubbing as I found to my cost.MinnieMousesMummy wrote: »I had an interview yesterday so just waiting with fingers crossed that I get it.
Good luck with that, MMM.
Healing vibes for your shoulder, Ionafan. Is the same one that has been causing you grief on and off for quite a while, even before the fall? And you were right, by the way, I did feel liberated by OH switching the WM off and telling irritating lodger it had broken down. I found a pearl earring this morning on the kitchen floor, and OH wondered if this was her throwing it on the floor before .... We rather think it was.
Foodie things done, which always pleases me and fills the house up with lovely smells, OH did a sainsbobs run because he wants anchovies on his pizza tonight and more honey (not for the pizza, though) and more ex-tomato tins pressed into service for more basil seeds. I've run out of tomato seeds which is maddening. Two lodgers out tomorrow, and then I'll have to do some serious flying to turn those rooms around, so I'm having a day off. I suppose I'll have to start doing a bit of laundry again after she's gone, too. Tee hee.Better is good enough.0 -
HB. I've thousands of tomato seeds if you want to PM an address to send some of them too.
Interview wishes, get well vibes, happy holidays all going to you lovely flyladies.
Front door clean, ironing put away, dogs walked and bathed. That's it for me today apart from doing tea.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Hiya I've scrubbed every inch of this house this week due to having a poorly poppet and poorly dh trying to stop it spreading to anyone else in the house..... Possibly impossible as school is swimming with it and not cleaning it properly. The washer, dryer and dehumidifier have been on more or less constant (dreading the electric bill). I still have a ton of decluttering to do in every room. Eeeek! I'm chipping away at that very slowly preferring to knit instead lol. Been shopping today to get dd1 the stuff she needs for her school trip away, god bless primarni.
Hope your all well

Dusty your list for tomorrow sounds enormous!
My plan for today was:
[STRIKE]hopefully more in garden[/STRIKE] Yes another small, messy bed cleared and some long-forgotten plants rediscovered. Sowed a few more seeds.
[STRIKE]help with churchyard clear up and church clean[/STRIKE] I polished the pews all down one side of the church. Mr N did leaf-raking and stick collecting outside. Nice for him to meet up with people as they keep asking about him at church (he doesn't often come to church with me)
[STRIKE]MUST order lilies as didn't do it on way to optician[/STRIKE] Got to usual florist to find it had moved! Remembered one in another village, she seemed really nice. I also remembered to bring the pedestal home from church so I can arrange them in the warmth of my house.
if weather nice, maybe motorbike ride to 2 more car places Nah, blowing a hoolie so not good biking weather
to catch up on starred emails would be nice Not yet.
[STRIKE]must ring my mum[/STRIKE]
Collected few more subs for village magazine.
The Xmas puddings are simmering away on the aga now.
Mr N is ironing while watching a film.
Dinner is cooking.
Don't imagine much more will be done today, for some reason we both had a bad night so are both tired.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
