You and all persons insured must have lived in the UK or Channel Islands for at least 6 of the last 12 months before opening the Signature Current Account for cover to be available and continue to hold this status to remain eligible. The above text is the only T & Cs I've been able to find on this...
What I was planning on doing was upgrading my account to the signature account shortly before going on holiday.
I've not actually been on a foreign holiday since 2008 so just wanted to ask advice on whether this is a good idea.
I'm going to the USA with my partner and 2 young children.
Could someone direct me to the full T & Cs if possible?
My main questions are;
Would we all be covered by this?
If so, how long would I have had to have the current account before travelling to the USA? (We are going in June).
If this is all OK would I be able to downgrade my CA to the Current Account Direct shortly after returning so to avoid being stuck with the fee?
If there is anything else anyone would like to point out here I'd welcome the advice.
Thanks in advance.

            Not sure how you missed it, but there's a 31 page "key facts and policy wording" document on their website. Scroll down towards the bottom of the Signature account page and there it is, under "Downloads".0

            OK here come the excuses; Full of the cold, been staring at a screen too long, a bit tired and it's a smallish link. But thanks for spelling it out for me. But thanks for spelling it out for me.
 Any further opinions would be appreciated.0

 On what?...value for money? Better options available elsewhere? Whether you'd be better not upgrading and simply applying for the Signature account as a standalone product?Any further opinions would be appreciated.
 Because all 3 of your "main questions" are answered in the respective T&Cs...the first two in the document I linked to, and the last one in the Signature account T&Cs.0

            Thanks Stuart, I've been reading up on travel insurance a bit more thoroughly today and I realise that ideally I would take the policy out sooner rather than later. Luckily none of us have become ill yet so I won't waste much more time before I do get us covered.
 YorkshireBoy, just if anyone had any suggestions or advice in general, it's the first time in a long time I've been abroad on holiday and the first time ever with my family, many times not too long ago with work and for that of course I didn't have to worry my employer covered me.
 Thanks very much for the input so far.0
