Towry Managed Portfolio

I get advice for my investments on an odd hoc basis but I am no expert other than reading financial columns and listening to financial advice on radio
I am wondering whether it would be simpler to pay for Towry's Advisory Portfolio Management Service for Pension, ISA and other investments
Has anybody view on this? I have noticed that on an anticipated 4% return the fees would be 2% ish - this I think includes any fund fees + Towry management fee.
I could just stay with what Towry have advised and pay as and when I need this reviewing.
I am 64. I propose to retire in 15 months - I have pensions from public authorities + 5 year deferred SP - my pension I contribute to privately is for when I get to my 70's when I anticipate I want enough income to provide supportsuch as gardening etc.

IFAs love coming across Towry clients. Towry are damned expensive and one of the easiest one to justify moving away from.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
