I used to have a Lloyds vantage account.
About to open a BOS vantage. Do I require 2 DD on this to earn the interest ?
Thanks

Lloyds pay higher interest (and give a choice of freebies and have a decent regular saver account too) but need direct debits.0 -
I like my DD to my S123 account for cash back.
Not impressed with the freebies.
Did I glean from here it only lasts 1 year ? ? with high interest.0 -

What do the T&C say?

I could easily have answered your questions;) but what if I got it slightly wrong? Or even very wrong, and you lost out on £100s of interest because you didn't check
Not having a go at you particularly, but you really should at least read the T&C first.0 -

You do not have to use any existing DDs for a Club Lloyds. It is dead easy to set up new DDs, as many as you like, using your own Tesco instant access savings accounts.
Have a look for threads that discuss this, or just go and do it. But please read the T&Cs to make sure you don't sign up for something you don't like.0 -

Ok smart !!!!!!
I did read the t&c's and was surprised to see no mention of dd on the bos and hence why I asked. I recalled Lloyds vantage needed it, although now I think about it maybe that was only when they had extra interest for 1 year on upto 6k.
Yes all my s123 dd earn cash back.
I thought I understood the club Lloyds needed 2 DD's to be paid out monthly. Not just set up.0 -
So people skim the interest off to a tesco account ?
What about the other dd ?0 -

The prime purpose of the Tesco savings accounts is the provision of DDs. Two separate DDs, if that's what you need. For any number of current accounts.
Skimming of interest most likely happens to accounts that pay better than the Tesco savings accounts.0
