I ordered the package shown in the photo (treadmill and cross trainer) on Friday and it was delivered yesterday.

It took about 1 hour to put them together. The assembly instructions were pretty straightforward and all the tools required were included.

I had a quick try out yesterday afternoon and a longer session this morning and both machines seem fine. I am not really a gym buff and I want them for a daily 30-minute session to keep up a reasonable level of fitness so they should be fine for that. Of course, if you are used to the standard of machines that you find in professional gyms and are looking for a more rigorous workout, they may fall short for you.

Mind you, like with all Argos stuff, there is a 30-day return and refund policy so you can't really go too wrong, can you?

These items are presently cheaper if you buy them seperately:

    Cycle £59.99 > HERE <

    Treadmill £199.79 > HERE <

    Total Cost = £259.78, as saving of £40.21 :)

I'd be interested to know if any one has bought the treadmill to see what they think of it.
I'm thinking about getting one, but I've never used a treadmill before and not sure what to look for.
is it worth spending 200 quid on a motorised treadmill or just get a cheaper manual one? are there many problems with the motorised varieties, i mean with them breaking down.

The 30 day policy wouldn't apply if you set the items up to try them!

I paid £150 for mine ex display from an ebay shop in my area. First one the internal drive belt kept slipping off. They replaced the treadmil with a totally brand new one of the same...no problems..its great.

My only problem is tho that argos advertise its 10kph max. There is no way that max = 6mph.. I walk at 4mph and im running at 80% and im 6 2". Also im clocking 5 miles or is it km ??? in 40 mins...if i can walk 4mph and as argos says its on KM then that means im doing 3.1 miles in 40 mins.......meaning im going slower than i walk...which i deffinatly aint.. Anyone got and ideas?
