RAC Cancel Early?

I have an RAC policy which I pay months but I'll get getting a lease car through work in the next two weeks.
I won't need the RAC on the new car as that sort of thing is handled by the lease company.
We won't be keeping the old car, will RAC allow me to cancel?
I understand they would expect me to pay the year up but I don't want to call them until I've got some facts.

If this RAC breakdown rather than motor insurance?
If your going to cancel and get nothing you may as well leave it running. Especially if you have personal cover, It maybe useful if your travelling in someone elses car.
After 14 days the full premium will be payable. Also make sure you cancel any recurring payments when the policy expires.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
It doesnt really say if you will need to pay the full year, just that you must give 30 days notice and they wont offer a refund. If you're getting your car within 30 days then call them. There's no point having cover for a car you dont have. If however, it is personal cover and they still want paid to the end of the year, keep it as it will cover you if you are in another car even as a passanger, but still give them the notice that you don't want to renew.
