Really impressed by a book called 'Money and Work' by Wyn Derbyshire and others, which I'm reviewing for one of the professional journals. Worth every penny of £14.99 for anyone leaving school/going to college/starting work.

Very brave advertising competing products. Martin will be thrilled.
I'm joking. I will look into it. I enjoyed 'The Money Diet'. What's the book's tone like (not sure if that's the correct word), for example, upbeat, funny, etc."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

Some people like to own books, and if, for example, they need the research something for the book they don't have to run down to the library."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

Really? People like owning books - well i never?!I suppose you can run down to the shops instead of the library then.
I suggest looking in the library first - and if you feel its something worth buying then you know. Not really worth wasting £15 on a "recommendation" without seeing first is it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. That's a good first port of call. If it's an expensive book I would go to the library; however, my local library is not that big. So, as you can imagine, a wide range of book is not going to happen."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."

But you can usually order books they don't have, which can have the advantage that they then order more books in.
True. In fact, I might give that a go today. I will attempt to get hold of that book and I will find out how long it will take to arrive. I don't think I will purchase it after reading, because all I need to know is on this website."Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."
