Quicktime running in background

How do i stop Quicktime running in the background on my PC??

I do not really need it but i do use Itunes so would removing it disable ITunes???

  • To stop quicktime running in the background do this -

    Got to your start button and press "run"

    When the box opens type - "msconfig"

    The system configuration box will open, go to the startup tab.

    Scroll down untill you see quicktime and then uncheck it.

    Restart your computer and then quicktime should be gone.

    You can still use quicktime, it just won't be running in the background all the time. Use the same methord to get rid of anything else you don't want running from start up.

    Or use a tool like Windows Startup Inspector which is a little more flexible.
