My PC ain't working. It went off last night as I was running my superantispyware prog. it asked me to reboot which i did and it aint come back on.I get as far as the screen with all the PCI Device listings with a message at the bottom telling me my NTLRD is not working, press ctrl=alt+delete to restart but nothing happens Evil or Very Mad My PC is a evesham and the suport centre is open monday - saturday 9-5.30 which is no good as I'm at work. I'm going to phone NTL as they are my broadband supplier but not sure if it's to do with that.

Won't be anything to do with NTL so save your money there. Do you have your restore CDs or a recovery partition you can access? It looks like your hard drive boot record may be damaged.
By the way it's actually the NT Loader file and not NTL related

HAve a look here at the microsoft site - http://support.microsoft.com/search/default.aspx?catalog=LCID%3D2057&spid=global&query=NTLDR&adv=&mode=r&cat=False0

Could also try the instructions here (only the ntldr instructions though)

Hi, I had this problem just yesterday. It is not detecting your primary hard drive. The system I was using had 2 drives so I shut the system down, unplugged both drives, then re-connected the primary drive and switched the PC on. It then detected the drive and booted into Windows. I then shut the PC down and re-connected the second drive. It worked for me, hope it works for you too
