Platforms for Trustees

Options
I know of at least one platform that accepts applications from Trustees of Bare Trusts for children, but I'm not aware of any that can be used by Trustees of other types of Trust - such as Will Trusts.

Does anybody know of any? I'd be eternally grateful to hear of one!

Cofunds will do Will Trusts and a number of others.
I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.

Thanks very much dunstonh. I'm wondering, though, whether that means that those intermediaries using Cofunds will necessarily allow Trustee accounts? I suppose I'll find out when I start enquiring, but your reply is a great help!

"Can I open a Vantage Fund & Share Account in the name of a trust?

Yes. To apply for a Vantage Fund & Share Account in the name of a trust, you would need to send us an application form via the post which can be requested from our Investment Helpdesk on 0117 900 9000.

We require the original or a certified copy of the Trust Document with the accompanying application form and, if not already in the Trust Document, a list of names and addresses of all authorised trustees and beneficiaries.

It is not possible to apply for a Vantage Fund & Share Account in the name of a Trust online or over the telephone."
  • Charles Stanley definitely do accounts for trustees as well.

Thanks - I once did business with them so will investigate. Thanks also xylophone - although for me HL would be a last resort!
