Which Canary Island should I choose?

Hoping some kind people can help me choose which of the Canary Islands is best for a family of 4 with 16 year old and 18 year old. We just want a relaxing , probably AI break after the stress of A levels and GCSE's. Have done some research but often find personal recommendations are better . Thank you in advance .:D

I'd be looking at Playa Blanca in Lanzarote, Taurito in Gran Canaria or Costa Calma in Fuertaventura.

But there are dozens of alternatives. My teens loved the Taurito Princess. It's a quiet resort though. Not much to do. Which was ideal as I didn't want to do much.

Another vote for Playa Blanca on Lanzarote. We loved the H10 Lanzarote Princess. It's not the poshest hotel there, but it has everything and the location is great.

My favourite is Fuerteventura. Fabulous beaches, definitely best in the Canaries. If your kids like wind / kitesurfing they'll love it. Resorts: Corralejo best for quiet enjoyment of beaches,shops, cafes, bars (no wild nightlife), Costa Calma best for watersports and fab beaches. Personally not keen on Caleta or Jandia, just my opinion after 10 or so visits. Great to get a car - easy, empty roads and nice scenery. Not many big AI hotels though.
Best AI hotels probably on Gran Canaria, though - check out Maspalomas - not Playa del Ingles if you want to relax!

Another one for playa blanca lanzarote. Absolutely love it there

Playa Blanca or Costa Adeje, PB is the less touristy of the two, although to be honest most places in the Canaries are quite touristy.

i would choose Correlaja And went AI at both riu oliva at dunes and suite hotel atlantis ( which do 2 bed apts) and loved both

Another vote here for Fuerteventura, we've always gone AI and had plenty of choice. Agree with having a cheap car too.
