    Some people are dicks?
  • I read about a similar story the other day where people were goading someone to jump of a building whilst recording it on their phone.

Some people are just utter scumbags and don't deserve the oxygen they breathe.

Sad situation. People take photos because they now live vicariously through their phones - everything is a spectacle to be traded as social currency.

Very sad and it does seem awful that people would take photos, but then people take photos of everything nowadays and when someone dies like that it can be very hard to process or know what to do, plus if students had been having a party nearby they may have been drunk and not able to respond appropriately.

I don't necessarily agree that's the reason people took photos. Some people just don't have a heart or a brain.

A few years ago I was coming back from working in Newcastle and just after leaving a guy collapsed and became unconscious, we had to stop at Morpeth. A Chinese family on the train, then started to take pictures of this poor guy. The guard was horrified that they were doing this, I think he tried to stop them but they just ignored him anyway.

Today there has been an accident that has resulted in a very main road being closed in bristol. It involves a car, pick up truck and motorbike.

The local rag have published pictures of the scene, with the motorbike in situ. The condition of the rider isn't public yet, but this poor guys family are likely to see these pictures.

It's sensationalist bull poo and people should know better. Sadly, it's how society seems to be these days :(

Very sad indeed. When I see something happening, the last thing that crosses my mind is to take a photo. Especially if it is something really this sad. People are so "attention seeking" these days with all this social media hype and would go to any lengths to do this.
