Is Goofbay Safe?

Before I start I just want to say what a brilliant site this is!! :money:

Back to Goofbay, I am thinking of using the Goofbay sniper but is it safe to give them your ebay sign in details?

I wonder if HMRC use goofbay?:p
I must admit I hate the fact that anyone can type in my id and get the full 30 days ebay sales from it (although it's very often wrong, and doesn't include p&p), although I do use it to check up on my competitors - it's quite mind boggling how much some ebayers make.
My hubby has just bought a watch and the seller in question is making in excess of £20k a week!!! They do list on uk, u.s. and australia though.

Goofbay does not show any Shop Transactions either until the listing has finished completely. The site is as secure as any ebay affiliate, in that they have to prove certain security measures are in place before they are given an API key by eBay.The website is simply based around an affiliate search system - everything they offer is also available direct through the eBay site itself, except that an affiliate cookie is placed on you PC, enabling Goofbay to cream off a commission on any future ebay purchases you make. The Goofbay forum is heavily targetted by spammers and is not really much use these days.

    Hi

I use Goofbay to snipe and have not had anything 'dodgy' occur on my Ebay account since signing up with Goofbay. I like it because it's free and it saves me from getting into 'bidding' wars, I set my maximum and then log on later to see if I won. Great when you are at work 'cos it bids on your behalf.

Mattis, these goofbay threads you're bumping are awfully old.

I tried this last week - after 4 days, I thought "it must have ended by now, why haven't I been emailed?", logged on and it had no record of my snipes.

I've never had this problem with other sniping websites before, so my advice is to test this one and make sure it works before you trust it with anything important!

    EDIT: Oi, Mattis, noooooooooo!!!

I have continued using Goofbay successfully and my Ebay account has remained 'unhacked'.

    Thanks a lot.

BTW, about the "Snipe At", which snipe is the best to use?
