Tsb bank charges and overdraft HELLPPP

Hello,
I hope someone can help.
I have got into a viscous circle with my overdraft. I am paying around 50-80£ in charges for my silver account and over draft/intrest fees per month. I kept going over drawn so I ended up keep extending my over draft which tsb kept allowing and is now £2800 It is the only thing I struggle to keep on top of. I went into my local branch and asked if we could freeze charges of set up some sort of payment plan. They refused this as I had to let my account fall into arrears to then prove difficulty. I do not want this to happen as I have a mortgage and other payments I do not want it to affect anything else. I explained I could be using theses charges to pay off my overdraft but no one would help me. I need some advice I don't know if I can claim any charges back on my account to help pay off my overdraft . PLEASEE HELPP
Thanks

You are borrowing money from the bank every month for your overdraft ad they will charge you for it, it's how they make money.
If you are struggling to pay your normal bills and your overdraft keeps increasing down to that, and you are in current financial hardship [which means you don't have direct debits for sky or mobile phone contracts etc, then you can ask for the charges to be refunded. This will only help you once though.
Go over to the debt free wannabe board and post this there.
You will probably be advised to open a new account with another bank, swap all your dd's to that and default on the current bank account you have, or set up a payment plan for it.
You will also probably be asked to post an SOA to see if anyone can help you with your outgoings.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
