Living North
Entry Form - competition name: TICKTON GRANGE
Living North is delighted to have teamed up with the lovely Tickton Grange to offer one lucky reader two fabulous nights for two in the hotel’s Dale Suite.
Tickton Grange is a very special country house hotel. Family-owned, it maintains the highest standards in terms of hospitality. With a combination of renovated servants quarters, stables and Victorian cottages and even a former school room, all the hotel’s bedrooms offer a blend of historic appreciation and modern comfort, and are designed with spaces for rest, relaxation and of course, a great night’s sleep. Extra treats include Noble Isles bath goodies and locally produced Yorkshire soaps in the bathrooms. The hotel has also put together a box of Noble Isle’s lovely products as a special gift for the winner to enjoy at home.
The restaurant, Hide, is named as a nod to the family history of working with leather and suggestions of intimacy and discovery. Hide’s menu is based on everything local, everything artisan, everything prepared by hand in the time honoured way. David Nowell heads Tickton Grange’s brigade of talented chefs. Chair of the East Yorkshire Food Network and the driving culinary force behind the Beverley Food Festival, David has been with the hotel for over 20 years. For the lucky winner, the prize includes dinner each night from Hide’s a la carte menu, and a post prandial coffee and handmade truffles together with your choice of local liqueur served in the Library
