Desperate for Hol 10/11/12 or 13/8 1wk?

Still not found a decent deal for above dates from Manchester preferably-2 adults and 2 kids 11 and 15-Could travel from other airports if reqd. Would like Half Board or AI if poss but wud consider SC-Can anyone find anything budget 1000-1200?

I was looking for a hoilday with the same budget, but i was getting silly price around £1500 just for spain!!! After searching the web constantly, i still had no luck. I phoned thomson, and told the lady i was looking for a cheap hoilday and could not afford this much and could she please find me something cheaper around the £1000 mark.

I must add before we tried on their site 2 adults and 1 child to Fuerteventura (Canaries) came out at £1563 all in self catering!

On the phone she told me because i was booking our child as a child so therefore we were paying for the childs superfamily entertainment and also the supplement. this is why it was going up because they only count the adults. So the room sleeps 4 we were paying ultimately for the other 2 adults indirectly.

she typed in the same deal as above with 4 adults insead of 2 and 2 children and the price came down to £732



if just checked for you now and a family of 4 adults to Greece is £800! try it on their website now book them as kids then try them as adults nearly halves the cost.

I have done this many times over the years when taking my son on holiday,as booking him as an adult nearly always worked out cheaper than booking him as a child.

Just looked at Thomson site and can find nothing on those dates for under £350pp and thats just for SC-have keyed in 4 adults-Where are you finding Greece for £800?

I have had a look at Thomson as well and cant find the deal Chattycathy mentioned for £800.
I would be very surprised indeed if you can find anything anywhere near this price.

Have you thought about booking flights and hotel seperately? It can sometimes work out a lot cheaper than booking a package even in the height of the season.
www.skyscanner.net is a good place to find the cheapest flights, I just looked for Alicante airport and flights were about £750 for the 4 of you and www.alpharooms.com is good for accommodation, I looked for Costa Blanca and for a 2 bedroomed apt it was under £300 for all of you for a week.
I would recommend that you look at the reviews of any hotels you find on www.holidaytruths.co.uk or www.tripadvisor.co.uk before you book anything.

You might want to check Thomsons build your own too its always worth checking because you avoid all late booking fees and hotesl can be alot cheaper such as leaving this Wednesday they have apartments in Lanzarote for £136 for a family of 4
