I'm cursed when it comes to printers, cursed!! My first one was an Epson C44 which broke every 2minutes and drank ink. My second was a Lexmark X2480 which was cheap to buy but cost a small fortune in cartridges, broke multiple times and died completely after a couple of months.
This time I'm going to spend more and take some advise. What printer shall I get? My limit is £100 and I want something that will last me and won't cost a fortune in cartridges. Any ideas?

I've had an Epson CX5400 for a couple of years now. Combined printer/scanner. It uses a different cartridge for each colour and I pay under a tenner for a full set of compatible cartridges.0
