Credit on Amex

I'm hoping someone will have the answer to this one for me as google isnt to helpful with the search terms I've been using.

I've recently had a fair amount of cash refunded to my Amex card after cancelling a hotel booking with Expedia as they don't honour their best price guarantee when its the exact room, dates and so on but the currency is in dollars.

Anyway the new booking is now on a Clarity card for obvious reasons (and quidco also should net me another £60 after the stay) but I now have these funds sat on a card that I dont use and only really got for the rewards points offer which paid for Xmas.

Easy option is to use the Amex now until I use up the credit but I'd quite like to move it over and cover the reduced bill on the Halifax card.
Is it possible??

Yes, if you send them a secure message with your account details they'll transfer the credit balance back to you. I've done it a few times recently with no problems.

yes, as OllyM says, ask them to put it into your current account. you can then pay your Halifax card with it.
