Letter to car dealer

Hi! I am hoping somebody here can help me.
DH purchased a new (second hand) car a few months ago from a car dealer. At the time he thought the windows weren't shutting properly. The dealer told him it was because the battery was low as the car had been standing, but assured him that the windows would be covered under warranty if anything did go wrong with them. When we got it home, the windows still weren't shutting and were allowing rain in. The dealer told us to get it repaired locally and that he would send a cheque to cover the cost. The cheque has never arrived. In addition, the dealer had forgotten to put the engine cover back on after doing the mot, and told DH that he would send a wheel centre cap that was missing. We have never had these either.
We have been communicating via email so have all this in writing. I would like to send a final letter requesting all these things are sent to us but just don't know what to actually write. I want to be as polite as possible but firm. Can anybody suggest what to actually say in the letter?
Thanks in advance!

Can't help you with the letter i'm afraid, but a valuable lesson there, once they've got your money you are of no further interest as this wide boy dealer is proving beyond doubt, the further you travel to buy the car the more they can ignore you the second they have your dosh.0

Tell me about it! The previous car was a complete disaster, but we were able to claim chargeback through the card company to enable us to buy this replacement. We paid by credit card this time to give us more protection, but I don't think it will be applicable under these circumstances. The car actually drives fine and now the window has been repaired there no major faults. We just want the missing parts and the money he promised to cover the repair.0
