Parking Charge Notice from NSL on behalf of Tower Hamlets Homes

Hello guys,

Looks like I need help from the good people on this site again.

A Parking Charge Notice, trying to appear as a PCN, from NSL on behalf of Tower Hamlets Homes, was placed on the car for "parking" on an estate (off the main road) for a few minutes (as you will hopefully see, the ticket says the car was parked for 1 minute – between 11:56 and 11:57).

The contravention stated is 81A – parked outside of a designated bay.

The car wasn't parked in a bay, just stopped to take the 1 year old out of the car and into her grandparent's house.

BTW – do they need to allow a certain amount of time before issuing a ticket – 5 minutes maybe?

I did notice that the parking charge notice had one inaccuracies – not sure if it is important enough – Tax disc expiry is wrong – it states 310113 – the warden must have been in a rush to give the ticket and run

Reading the other posts, the general advice seems to be to wait for the NTK to arrive before appealing – Is that still the advice?

I did see similar post on the pepipoo forums for the same company, although I didn't find a post that had been concluded.

Your advice is appreciated as always.

front and back of ticked uploaded (correctly I hoe). Unfortunately I don't have a photo of their signage but can get it if required.

Thanks

    Yes

Unless it is a lease/hire/company car, wait until you get a Notice to Keeper in the post.

Issues such as the tax disc are irrelevant. The most important point is that the loss to the landowner is not £100. It is much closer to £0.00.

tax discs are no longer required in vehicles since about oct 2014 , so take it out ;)

as this is a private company with the BPA, wait for the NTK is the best option , then send the template letter from the NEWBIES sticky thread

    Hey Redx, many thanks.

    I'll await the NTK.

Is there a time limit for them to send the NTK and then for me to respond?

I know that this is a HA, but is it a registered charity. If so, write to the Charity Commissioners about its partnership with a most inappropriate and uncharitable bedfellow.
