Just remembered I won either a years or 6month supply of malteser hot chocolate. Along with a blanket and hot water bottle and pack after pack of maltesers. They were never my fave choc but after winning so much I can never eat them again.

Pretty sure it was 12 tubs of hot choc and around 30 boxes of maltesers. I was giving the things away for weeks, sometimes the same person was asked if they had finished last lot cos they could have more.

    Still got the blanket :o
    63 mortgage payments to go.

    Zero wins 2016 😥

I won a years supply of Patterson's shortbread and we got 12 boxes every few weeks (4 assorted, 4 regular and 4 clotted cream shortbread) We started off eating them but the kids got bored after a while. The assorted boxes with chocolate covered ones always went quickly, but then we started to get quite a backlog so we gave them away to family, friends, the harvest festival collection at the kids school...etc. It actually was fun to be able to give it away to others. It was a very good prize.

Sounds like you were supposed to get 12 bottles but instead got 12 boxes of 6 or 12 bottles or something. Happened at a shop I worked at once and wasn't a good thing that time.

Also, how rubbish to get 12 packs of butter, and 4 cans deo as a years supply. I bet that feels like a let down.
Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!

I won a "lifetime supply of t-shirts" which in reality was one t-shirt a month for 3 years. Still very happy though!

A years supply of Magnum chocolate bars lasted a lot less than a year! Company would be bankrupt if they had sent me what I would need for a year!
  • Butter is one of those things that will really vary on a family to family basis. I probably buy it around once every two months so I'd be chuffed with 12! We're just two adults no kids though and we only use it as ingredient and don't eat toast (strange family!!)

Same here. I think myself and DH use about 1 tub every 6 weeks (DH uses it mainly for his work sarnies)
Whereas my mam is always buying it, not only for my brother's - who still lives at home - sarnies, but because he is a toast fiend. She's always looking out for offers on butter :)
BTW, I won a years supply of toilet roll a few years ago. I think they sent me about 15 vouchers which were each valid for a 9 pack. I shared them with my Mam. She reckons with the price of bog rolls, it was one of my best ever wins :D

If you bake with butter and cook with it as well as spreading it on toast you could go through a fair amount.
