A years supply...

Quite subjective I suppose, but what would you consider constitutes a years supply?
I won a years supply of butter in December and have been waiting ever since for the vouchers to turn up (the other part of the prize was with me within a few days). They turned up today and I've been given one per month, 12 in total.
Should I feel disappointed? Or does it seem fair to everyone else?

Seems fair to me.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -
The T&Cs will usually say what a "years supply is", one block of butter per month for one person is probably about right.
10g per portion, standard 250g block = 25 servings (I have seen 7g being shown as a serving so a standard block would be 35 servings)0 -
Depends on what it is. I won a years supply of dog food a few years ago, they asked how much my dogs ate per day, and sent me a LOT more. It lasted my dogs 18 months!I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!

I recently won a year's supply of sudocrem and received 12 tubes - quite happy with that. All depends what the t&c state. If you are single wth no kids then one butter would seem fine. Though if you are a family of 5/6 or a person who loves butter and goes through one or more a week (eek think of the clogged arteries and high cholesterol!) then you might feel miffed!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

I won a years supply of deodorant once and got sent four!
I read the T&Cs (after winning) and to be fair it did state the winner would win four... so not quite a years supply, well, perhaps to the people I often encounter on public transport maybe!

I won a years supply of face masks - A huge box arrived! So many. I think it worked out around 2 a week. I also won a years supply of Dog Food (all sent in one go) Ekkkkkk.... Slowly getting threw it all...
I did spot a Competition for a year supply of wine which states 12 bottles though - That would not be a years supply to most people I know! 12 Voucher's don't look much but suppose they think the average person only does a monthly shop and therefore use one a month xxxAsk.. Believe.. Receive..
