See the "eligibility" section, 5th para (although this talks of the fee, the Lloyds Rep has repeatedly said on here that interest is treated the same, and there are several posters reporting still getting interest despite not having their DDs set up until the following monthly billing period...which, as I say, depending on when you open the account, can obviously be up to 8 weeks later)0 -
and now I have a good answer!
thanks for your time YorkshireBoy. I don't want to look lazy, but I did check before posting, next time I ll check better. Thanks again 0 -
Are you aware that the DD by which you pull money to your PayPal account has to be done manually, every month, ie it isn't automatic?0

Thanks to those concerned for the info in this thread.
I have recently opened a club lloyds a/c and was resigned to not putting in my £5k until next month, (by which time my DDs would be set up).
I couldn't see anything in the t&c to say that these were not required for the first partial and first full month when I checked upon opening the account. As soon as I found out differently i whacked my £5k in straight away!

So, does this mean it could be done twice in a month and count as two direct debits?
I've got Tesco saving accounts set up, but they don't kick in until April. I was hoping to get this months reward if possible (reward account form today!)To Do 2015

Ah, of course. Thanks.
Is there anything else that can be quickly and easily set up?To Do 2015

Not in the next 6 working days I wouldn't think. Is there anything else that can be quickly and easily set up?
You said in another post on 13th March that you'd set up 2 Tesco accounts and initiated 2 x £1 DD pulls? How come they won't collect until April? I've just set 2 more up at Tesco today and the earliest pull is 2nd April...which means you could have set them up as late as last Wed/Thurs 19th/20th and still got them to collect this month.0
