Wing Parking Islington

Hello. I got a parking ticket on private parking as I was working in a house on that land and I got a ticket, as you do. It was for £60 after 14 days it goes to £100. When I looked up wing parking they control the whole of Islington parking control. I paid after the 28 day notice period £100 stupidly. Now they are saying I have not paid I sent them a bank statement showing it going out and my account number still saying I've not paid. Any advice??

You need to start a new thread of your own, as we work on the basis of 'one case, one thread' so advice doesn't become confused and/or we have a complete free for all with any number of random cases being tagged on.
But first of all you need to read thoroughly the NEWBIES FAQS sticky at the top of the forum index (one page back from here) which will give all of the initial information you need. It was written by Coupon-mad, one of the country's most knowledgeable people in dealing with private parking tickets. You won't find anything more comprehensive than this anywhere online.
The sticky is detailed and you might need a couple of 'passes' to digest it, so bite sized chunks with a cup of tea over a couple days might be the best approach. You do need to make the effort to do some research via the sticky before asking for further help from regulars - we are so busy each day it's impossible to type and constantly repeat basic information - hence the sticky with all that stuff covered. But do come back after reading it if anything isn't clear to you.
However, - via a new thread of your own please.
And please don't post within a few minutes of your previous post 'demanding' early attention. We are all volunteers, giving freely of our time to help you with your problem.
If you require such urgent attention, please contact a solicitor. At £500 per hour, I'm sure you'll get all the immediate attention you require!
HTHPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Any advice? Don't be such a mug next time. Paying Wing Parking £100?!!! WOW you've been had!!
They do not run Islington on-street parking, they just ruin* the car parks owned by the Islington Housing Associations.
* not a typo!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As C-M has said Wing Parking are a private parking company that solely look after the car parks and parking arrangements in LB Islington's estates. Nothing else. However, they produced tickets that bear the borough crest and, to the uninitiated, can look for all the world like the real deal council PCN. They aren't and the charge would have been for breach of contract - by failing to abide by their parking rules.
It really is a shame that you didn't find this forum before you paid up but now you have found us make sure you have a good read around the subject and educate yourself. You'll know for next time that PCN's from the likes of WP could have been easily defeated.
Don't for a moment think of paying WP again and having paid them already - and told them so - I would ignore them for here on in. Oh, and make sure that your friends know too.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0
