Just wanted to gage views on this....
This would suit us.....the certainty of knowing the sale was definite, coupled with the extra time to get our other property ready (we already own it).
I appreciate this would not suit all buyers, but just wondered what your thoughts are.....

I managed around 2 months, but that was chain free both sides.
Delays might be out of your hands. Waited ages for the mortgage valuation, then solicitor delays etc.0 -
If its a choice between
-early exchange and then 2 months to completion,
-waiting say 6 weeks to exchange then 2 weeks to complete
then I'd prefer the former option.
But personally I'd like a quicker overall chain, so completing within a week or 2 of exchange and exchange being as soon as possible.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
