Credit Card not on Credit Score

I have a credit card that is very low, but I am still paying it back. I owe around £300. It is not appearing on my credit report through Equifax. What does that mean?

Comments

  • Just means that the card provider does not report to Equifax. Not all financial institutions report to every credit reference agency, you'll most likely find that all three CRAs contain different info.

Check Experian and noddle. Not all report to each of the 3 agencies.

    Is it old? New?

It's about 5 years old, and it's with Natwest. I've also noticed my Natwest bank account isn't there either.

That's odd. Maybe ask them which agency they report to as they are not showing.

Could also be some kind of data mis match?

Check noddle, it's free, to see if on there.

I Have a Credit Card with Natwest that doesn't show up on any of the 3 Credit Agencies i was told years ago that when i got the credit card in 1997 is that there wouldn't have been an automatic update on my credit file to show it but if there is a missed payment or default it will show up

Yeah, that's why I asked the age. My 1990s RBS one was only allowed to report on default.

Reporting is optional, but usual these days. Best ask Natwest to confirm.
