EESA/Disability premium help please?

Good evening, I wonder if someone could help me please?
I have been receiving EESA for over 12 months now at a rate of £120.05PW (i am single). I get a disability premium as part of that amount.
I was until recently receiving the lower rate of care DLA, but that has now changed to middle rate, as i now receive more DLA, £54.45 pw (Vs £21.55) will my EESA be affected, and do I have to inform them or is that done automatically?, thank you

do you live alone or with another disabled adult?
does anyone claim carers allowance for looking after you?0 -
I have my 20 year old student son living with me (he is not disabled)
and no one claims carers allowance0 -
so child related benefits have stopped?
if you lived alone or with another disabled adult, you would have been able to receive the severe disability premium on top of your ESA.
but as you have another adult in the house you can't claim it.
i am presuming you get income related ESA and are in the support group?0 -
yes any child related benefits have stopped
and yes to the income related ESA and in the group
thank you0 -
in that case the new award of DLA won't make any difference to your ESA claim.
you can call and tell them, they will probably already know though0 -
Thank you, I just didnt want to do the wrong thing
you have been very helpful, i really appreciate it, thank you!0
