odd sellers on ebay

their is some odd seller out there i won a dvd last night for 99p .The seller has sent five invoices asking for payment!!!!! last one at 5 this morning.I am going to pay but it make no differance if i paid last night or tonight as its not going anywhere till tomorrow morning i do understand some people need to packover the weekend maybe going around but they can just send message explaining and i would pay right away just find it odd as i leave it afew day before sending reminders not five in less than 12 hours

Personally, this seller concerns me..why the hurry to get payment? re you completely happy with the seller, is the feedback good, no mention of pirate copies or whatever, do they normally sell DVDs? I would worry that this seller is in too much of a hurry for payment that he must be hiding something and needs money before you spot the problem...

I don't think that would be the case for a 99p auction soo? or is it?

They may not realise the invoices are going through, their computer might not be working properly or just cut off when sent the invoice? or they could be drunk at that time?

whats the feedback like?

their feedbacks fine 200+and they just sell dvd no comments on them being copies just something does not seem right .But they could have been drinking see what happens today

I dont know if its a national think but the Waitrose near me...
The Post Office is open whenever the store is open.
So if the seller works all week perhaps the seller wants to post it today???

I had this recently. Five invoices within about two hours :eek: of auction ending. It was a relatively new seller though. Didnt want my inbox flooded so paid after 5th invoice then heard nothing till item arrived with no slip or return address.

i am going to pay but as i said before it cant go anywhere till tomorrow unless he has post office which opens on sunday and its odd all the invoices if he wants to post today why is it not in listing or send message

As well as a strange seller, I think it is strange that a buyer will buy an item and not pay immediately if they have the means to (I assume you do). Should it matter that the item cannot be actually posted until Monday?

What if the seller is not available to send the item at the time you choose to pay? ie seller could be going away for a couple of days today and would like to bring the item with him to post. This scenario happened to me a few weeks ago, the buyer paid on the day and I brought the item with me on a course I was doing. If they didn't pay on the day, I would have had to send the item when I got back a few days later.

Perhaps he takes his packages to work with him.

I wouldn't take a package with me to work if I hadn't been paid for it. Ifyou leave it too late today before you pay I wouldn't bank on it getting posted tomorrow.

P.S. I believe there are still some areas with Sunday postal collections.
