Frequent change of current account for bonuses

So far I've changed from Nationwide to Halifax and then after a little more than 12 months I moved my current account to First Direct earning good bonuses at each step. First Direct advertised £125 when you join and then £100 if you leave within 12 months. I'm more than impressed with First Direct but wouldn't I be a fool not to switch now to the Clydesdale who would give me £150 to add to the First Direct leaving bonus?

If you value your First Direct account (and the access it gives you to the 6% Regular Saver) more than the £100 leaving payment, why not open another account, either with First Direct or elsewhere, and switch that
