You'll get an "offer issued" text or email to say it's been done, but obviously that doesn't necessarily mean it's being put in the envelope at that particular moment, so it may not go out immediately.I am a mortgage broker. DIP- 10/02
Valuation- 20/02
Full application- 24/02
Request for further documents for next couple of weeks.
Final checks-16/03
Offer via text -17/03
They confirmed today the offer has been ssent in the post and can take 5 working days. I'm so impatient!
Hopefully it won't be too long for you now. I think it helped that they carried out our valuation prior to full application.0 -
Applied 18/2. Valuation was done quickly but lots of extra paperwork needed (and lots of confusing advice in the process regarding what is acceptable proof of deposit etc).
Final documents sent last Tuesday.
Today they called us saying there was some systems error and our application got corrupted or something, it will have to be manually inputted into the system again! Unbelievable!0 -
Oh no Rollinghills, if that happens to me I will cry
I'm in the same position as OP. Waiting to hear back from Nationwide after they requested further payslips. Originally they asked for some student loan documents which we supplied. Then we waited for 48 hours and heard nothing. Then the broker said they now want further payslips. We're in the 48 hour wait again. If I haven't heard anything by close of play today I'm going to get really worried! We're buying a new build and the developers want to complete on the 30th March. We're in rented at the moment and I can't even give notice to my landlady or anything until I know for certain I'm actually moving.
I've got everything crossed that I'll get "the text" today. But even then its not definite is it? STG did you get a text and then they've asked for further info?0 -
Yeah, I cannot believe it. Every computer system should have a back-up so surely it should be a question of recalling the backup from the server rather than manually re-typing the application! No idea how many applications would be involved. And what if they had not yet been printed?
Spoke to them today and they are still re-instating it although it sounds like they are happy now with all the paperwork.0 -

Only text we have had was about the valuation being booked and the valuation being ok. We stupidly told our landlord as we had to provide details so we thought we'd be honest and let him know as he may need to do a reference then he stated putting pressure on us as he had a new tenant so we av to be out by he 11th April now, its so close we need the offer today ideally!0
