So if I put £12000 in an account at the end of the year and half way through next year I found a house would I actually get the £3000 top up or I have to wait 5 years which sort of puts it out of the equation for me?0

Think you can save £200 a month.Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.0 -

£600 million in last 4 years and £800 million to come in next four. They are simply selling all the police stations and plan to give officers IPAD minis from sale of New Scotland Yard. They are spinning that IPADS can replace police stations at the moment despite half are custody suites being closed. Brentford, Chelsea, Chiswick, Fulham, Ealing, Shepherds Bush, ESB police stations all being sold off in small part of West London alone.
Police numbers will be cut after the election as their salaies represent 85% of costs. They are just keeping the numbers at 32,000 till then as its a pledge by the mayor for the election, after that the number cuts come in like the other forces have already. Theresa May wants to bring in compulsory redundancy recommended by the Windsor report, she is using its implimentation to blackmail the police federation from critising the cuts.
Its not just the police but all the hospitals being closed in West london like Charring Cross and 4 A&Es. I hate to think what they are going to do to are armed forces, the marines must be in line for the next big cuts as they now can't cut the army below 80,000 because of recent public backlash.
I don't know any fireman, police officer, police staff or NHS employee going to vote conservative.
So, in the period of rising violent crime in London, there was no reduction in police numbers?
surely no-one can really support the corrupt practices of the police federation ?0 -

Well, they shouldn't have 50% of students going to university anyway. That was a stupid policy yet again by Labour in order to massage youth unemployment figures.0 -

Indeed. The most heavily unionised people in the country with gilt-edged pensions and extreme absenteeism would not vote for the wealth-creating party. They want the feather-bedding party !!0 -
It sounds great, for a couple if they both save £200 per month then they can get unto £3000 each after 5 years. Six grand is not to be sniffed at.
I wonder what kind of interest rate these accounts will get?The thing about chaos is, it's fair.0 -

Agreed. If they save 24K they get an extra 6K for a total 30K. I wish I'd had that incentive at their age. The Tories have brains and thus come up with the best ideas. :T0
