Good Morning everyone, lovely day here and not a frost but very wet on the lawns. He Who Knows and the boy have gone off for walkies and the Olaf hs been fed, again!!! He seems to be feeling very much better, we've had him on supplementary feeds of critical care food but now as long as I shred and matchstick things he's making up for lost time and eating me out of greens!!!! several times a day too!
CAMELOT Happy Birthday lovey, hope you have a lovely day!
Houseworking today as I'm off to DD1 for the weekend for another concert, Bachs Matthew Passion this time and I like it to be clean and tidy before |I go and to make sure there is enough mealage in for He Who Knows to last him until Monday when I'm home again.
Have yourselves a nice day all, Lyn xxx.0 -
Morning, ((((((((((hugs))))))))))if you need one and happy birthday to the birthday girl.
Line of laundry out, it's fine, blue sky but brrrrr cold out there.
Off to Morrisons in a mo, need fresh fruit and veg plus a couple of other things.
OH had a dizzy at bedtime, I had gone up. Realised I had not St the washer, came down and found hi months floor!! Took him an hour to get over it, then wanted his hot chocolate and biscuits, so had to come down again.
More fabric sorting and cutting up later. I have a growing pile of bits that re not fat quarters but too big to cut into strips. Will have to see what I can use them for.0 -
Morning all,
happy birthday Camelot._party_ I hope you have/had a lovely day.
Troubled sleep for me last night I am annoyed with my youngest daughter. After asking me to have my Grandson overnight she finished off the message. "Oh and by the way, try not to get nappy rash cream on his clothes. I cant get the stains out".
Ok, if I wasn't doing her such a big favour by having him overnight and every Thursdays whilst she is at work maybe I wouldn't be so miffed. Maybe if I hadn't bought him a boat load of what she would call 'scruffy' clothes to wear when he comes to me because of the dog hairs, I wouldn't be so miffed (though ive never seen him in them). Or maybe if he wasn't dressed in designer stuff all the time and actually realized at the age of 52 I struggle with the demands of a wriggly 20 month old at bath time and nappy changes she wouldn't be so quick to moan. Maybe its me but it looks like a prime example of 'the more I do for my family the more they take it for granted'.
Had my usual moan from hubby about the job. Or rather the driving he's doing. Again, if he had gone to visit the job to see what it entailed before agreeing to do it he would have realized the driving would be too much. He had no excuse I suggested he called in whilst we were down that way a few weeks ago but he didn't want to.
Youngest fell asleep in his clothes last night. He didn't even feel me take his phone out of his hand and put it on charge. I just turned the light off and left him. He's shattered.
Right I have had my moan for today. Need to get myself sorted as ive got plans in the house.
Onwards and forwards,
have a great day all. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Happy birthday Camelot, I hope that you are enjoying your day
Had physio again this morning and basically she has just said keep doing the exercises and I don't have to go back
I have got all of the washing done and it is on the line, what a difference a bit of sun makes to us, I have been really down in the dumps since Sunday, but am a lot brighter today
Blood glucose will not go down, I did a test just before clinic and I had not eaten since 7pm last night which was a beef casserole with no potatoes just cauli and broccoli, but my sugar was 15.9 before brunch at 11:30pm :eek: something is very wrong and I am still waiting to get an appointment for the diabetic consultant
Dumpling ((Hugs)) it sounds to me like you have a touch of depression, go and see your GP xx
Topsy, so sorry for your loss ((((Hugs)))) xx

:bdaycake: Camelot
Topsy sorry to hear about your Dad
Not much to report here apart from socialising
Glad you have pinched our sun for a couple of days
:D It will be coming back I am sure, but maybe not before we set off back next Wednesday.
I nearly boobed with our first MOT on this car, it is due on the 28th, when we will be still "down south", so have booked it in in Ashford on the 27th just after we cross back. Good job my neighbour photo and sent me the tax reminder!!:eek:
Judi How do you bite your tongue? x

Moan warning....
Went to docs who squeezed my blocked and infected sebaceous gland (lots of ouching went on) and now it's very very sore, which is better than it was this morning. I've got 1000mg of antibiotics to take every day for seven days and getting referred to hospital for it to be excised. Great start to my day!
However, it's been beautiful here, bright bright sunshine with a nippy wee wind. Did a load of shopping for my guests arriving on Friday and had a lovely meeting over lunch.
End of moan!0 -
Good evening everyone. I'm very late logging on today.
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday Camelot, I hope you have a wonderful birthday.
Not sure what has happened to today, I went to work and have the car for the next few days, so no walking. Dropped DS at work this evening and then DD and I stopped off at the gym as we haven't been for a week:(
Have a good evening everyone,
hugs to all who need them.SPC 11 #4450 -
Out of fear of making things worse. I did contact my daughter and tell her to put the clothes I bought for him in his bag tomorrow. That way, if I get any bum cream on his clothes at least she cant moan cause she hasn't paid for them.Judi How do you bite your tongue? x
At the back of my mind I keep thinking "I wouldn't have dreamt of talking to my Mom the way she talks to me". Maybe that's a good thing, maybe not. I certainly wouldn't have allowed them to talk to me like that when they were kids and they wouldn't have dreamt of talking to me like that either ..... I'm not sure whats changed.
Anyway, this afternoon was fruitful. Ive made a start clearing some of the junk that's accumulated in the garden over the winter. I still need to work on hubby to dispose of one of the conifer trees. He promised me he'd do it last year but then changed his mind. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
