Excellent advice as usual, especially from Unholyangel. I will update you all on my credit card provider's decision, as soon as I receive it. Fingers crossed. And thank you again.0

I have just received confirmation from my credit card provider that I have been successful in my section 75 claim and that my refund is to be applied to my account. So once again, thank you to all the wonderful people who gave me excellent advice. You've all been stars!!!0

Well done for not simply giving up and rolling over.
Once you have the money back on your card you should contact your card issuer (do it via e-mail or letter so that you have a record), and ask them what they want doing with the furniture.
When the payment gets returned back, the goods will be the property of the card company and there is a good chance that they will tell you to either keep or dispose of it but it's best to make sure.0
