Looked at my first utility account today and noticed they had changed my tariff from one fixed until August 2015 to one fixed until jan 2018.after phoning them they said they didn't know how it had happened and that they would put me back on my original tariff. I told them I was not very happy about it and have been on the new tariff for 2 months .just wondered if anybody else has had a similar problem with them.

Do you not check your bills every month.
I am with Futility and so far there has nothing amiss but I do check my bills very carefully, including the tariff - every month without fail.
I also download and save them in case of any query or faults with FU's account systems.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Yes, I'm on my third attempt requesting a tariff change via the web portal. It's meant to happen within 5 days. Last time I attempted it was 8 days ago and still nothing. Just tried it one more time, and if no luck, then I'm switching.0

When they agreed to revert your tariff, presumably they also meant that you would be billed as though no error had ever occurred...0
