Hi, I'm struggling to find a payment gateway that will allow me to take payments for raffle tickets as it falls under gambling.

We are a committee that is raffling a prize of which any profit will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Can anyone help?

There was a similar thread a few years ago on this forum. I think the conclusion was that you would have to apply for a gambling licence.

This type of thing has come up a few times in the pasr when people have tried to sell raffle tickets, and the prize was their house which they'd been trying to sell.
If i remember it's against the law.

Couldn't you use paypal? How would paypal know what the payments are for?

Or just give out your bank details so people can pay you directly.

You'll need to abide by the necessary rules for running a raffle.

We have a gambling licence etc so it's all legal, we are just struggling with taking payments over the internet as PayPal forbid gambling in their Terms of Use.
