I started with lidl clothing, tools and kit, but I've largely moved on. Having pretty much got everything I wanted I'm now buying less stuff of better quality.
One of my best ever buys was a lidl compression sleeveless top. My heart rate monitor plays up sometimes, but never when I'm wearing this as a base layer. I have two and hardly leave the house for a bike ride without one on.
Another good buy was a pair of bib longs. They're quite thick, block the wind really well, but still wick away the sweat. I've seen people complain about where the pad is, that it isn't placed right, but they work for me and help keep my core warm regardless of the temperature.
