Any jewellery makers out there??? need advice
Hi, I'm hoping someone out there can help me.
I have an unusual piece of jewelry, it's a ring which was made out of a silver / possibly silver plated victorian coffee spoon.
The bowl of the spoon has been flattened and the stick of the spoon wound around on itself to create a ring.
On the top it was set with a blue moonstone.
Now, the stone, which was secured with some type of glue, has fallen off, and amazingly I found it.
So my question is, what is the best thing to use to stick the stone back onto the ring?
Could anyone advise what type of adhesive I should be using to stick the glass type stone to this type of metal?

Sounds like a beautiful piece for jewelry, my best advice to you is, I suggest you look up Jewelry makers in your neighborhood. I'm currently working for a jewelry store, but we're located in the US.

probably arildite.
But getting it silver soldered shouldn't cost too much....
