You're right deanna. Thank you for taking the time to talk sense to me! And good on you for undertaking all that work!
I need to take the emotion out of it. For us it's a life changing decision, for him it's a simple business decision so I need to wind my neck in and get house hunting-the property is not worth the extra in its current state.
And much as I'd like to be something more exciting, I'm just a lowly local government worker!:j0 -

Yeah the initial guessing was quite interesting lol.
I wish you all the best.
Thank god, I'm going into social housing so no more private LL vagaries. If I work on the house its not going to be whilst envisaging the words 'mug' printed on my forehead anymore lol.
But if you have an alternative, I'd advise you to take it with both hands and run hard.0 -
Good luck deanna... I'm envious!
I recently applied for social housing but was told our income was too high for us to be considered for the HA waiting list (it's not that much by anyone's standards!) but too low for a mortgage on a shared ownership property. Very frustrating!
And fairy, I know cleanliness isn't really next to godliness but it's just the way I am....
Thanks again all you lovely people xxx:j0
