Moving before applying for Mortgage

I'm currently saving for a mortgage. Looking to save 10% and am probably 7/8 months away from my goal.
I'm currently sharing a flat with a 'friend of a friend' who over the past few months has become increasingly odd- and isn't someone who I relish the thought of having to live with much longer.
A close friend is moving into a new flat in the next few weeks and looking for someone to share with- But I'm aware that moving can affect credit ratings and a mortgage would be easier to get with a stable address.
Would I be daft to move so close to looking to get a mortgage? How much is it likely to affect me?
Thanks for any advice!

Moving regularly can be an issue with unsecured lending. But given you're after a mortgage, I wouldn't worry.
After all, if you're successful, they will know where to find you if you stop paying.0
