New Virgin credit cards on the way...

Just a heads up, it looks like Virgin are finally ditching MBNA, they've started sending out letters saying they're moving to a new online system (ie not bankcardservices) on Monday, changing the name of the direct debits from MBNA to Virgin Money PLC, and sending out new cards over the next few weeks.
Of course, this is only for the customers they've decided to take with them and haven't switched to MBNA proper in the meantime...

it will be interesting to see how Virgin Money Cards play out...
hopefully they will offer good limits and good balance transfer deals, and be a third major player in that sector of the market:A0 -

EDIT - Found email in my spam folder. I'm staying with Virgin which is good as i need to BT later in the year and MBNA always score high on the eligibility checker, but couldn't transfer from virgin to MBNA, result.£1000 Emergency fund No90 £1000/1000

Yes. I got a letter telling me that I was staying with MBNA. Probably about a year ago now.0

Ditto for me.0 -
If you have the letter saying you are transferring from MBNA to Virgin, does that mean you could then apply for a MNBA money transfer? I've wanted to do a money transfer via MBNA for a while to stooze but have a Virgin cc debt (0%, being paid off with greater than the minimum monthly payments) and have been unable to as the outstanding balance was technically for an MBNA card.0
