Earning Quidco points through Ebay

Quidco now states you can earn 35% for winning an Ebay auction. It says 'the amount is based on Ebay revenue'- so what is this figure?

Can you earn points for selling items aswell? Now that would be good!

the least i have had was 5p and the most was 53p. A cheap listing starting at 99p with gallery pic should get you about 16p i think. buy it nows are not included.

The payout is based on the money Ebay make from the sale by way of fees. You get 35% of the ebay fees. This includes Buy It Now items and Auctions (previous poster is wrong about BIN being excluded)

To make sure you get the cashback to track, you need to ensure you ALWAYS go via Quidco to Ebay. This even applies when you are paying for items you have won/bought and the seller or Ebay sends you an email with an invoice/payment link. Don't use the link, you will lose the cashback. Do Quidco > Ebay > My Ebay and find the items that way. There will be PAY NOW options which you can use and should also track.

personally I find it easier and more reliable to set up your own CJ account and cream of the full 50% of the FVF's!

I have never ever received Quidco money for a BIN..which is a shame as this weekend alone I have bought a £17.99 and two at around the £12 mark. I do however get varying amounts on normal auctions that i win. I still go through Quidco every time though, just in case.

ebay use cj.com (commission junction) to manage their affiliate program, so quidco make you use their special links, which have been provided to them by cj.com

what stevew8975 is saying is that he has his own account with cj.com so doesnt need to use quidco as middlemen.

Also, i dont think BIN's are included either, i have my own account with cj.com and the ebay programs details specifically states that i will be paid a percentage of winning bids, no mention of buy it now purchases, whereas they used to mention them seperately before.

Sorry - been away for a few hours. Go to www.cj.com, and set up a new account and you will be given a PID number - this is your affiliate ID.

Once you have this 7 digit number, you can then use the flexible destination tool to create an affiliate link - http://affiliates.ebay.co.uk/promote/flexible-destination-tool.html#description

Simply copy and paste the resulting link into your browser and earn your first commission.

Winning Bids and Buy It Nows are credit worthy, so quidco will be keeping some for themselves by the sound of it!! Until recently we could also earn commssion on increased bids as well!

  • yup, used to be 10p for every bid, of any size, whether it won or not, and 12p for every buy it now
  • Can you post a direct link to join the CJ site...
