teacher training accounts questions

Hi everyone,
I am due to start a teacher training program (a SCITT) this September, where I will become a full time student for a year. So I am looking into all the benefits of being a student again.
EDIT: As a note to all, I have a 2yr and 4yr old and my partner would still be working 26hrs a week earning ruffly £14500 a year.
I am current planning to switch to a Santander 123 account as I have a mortgage with them, plus the other perks.
So my question is... would it be worth signing up to a student account for the year to get some freebies/perks? If so any suggestions?
I'm aware of council tax reductions, childcare grant, healthcare costs (dentist, prescriptions, etc). What other benefits are there that I am not be aware of? (stuff that I don't have to pay back

Get a web browser plugin that corrects / highlights your spelling mistakes. Teaching and Skools have been left behind given the recent population expansion. Class rooms of 40 plus pupils are not uncommon.EDIT: As a note to all, I have a 2yr and 4yr old and my partner would still be working 26hrs a week earning ruffly £14500 a year.

I checked randomly Santander, and they say:
MSE article: Student Bank AccountsEligibility
...The course you are on must be a minimum of 2 years in length with a Higher Education Provider.
For other benefits, I think Student Money Saving board is a better place to ask.0
