Yep, warranty has come back - yes, they'll pay for it, the amount they're willing to pay is £140 short of the full amount the garage are charging.

Still, better than a poke in the eye...

They have paid the full cost of the part as listed by a supplier that the garage won't use due to quality issues in the past.

ok its a hard one , but you should not really be out of pocket because the garage chooses the parts to be fitted, the new parts will have a warranty by either maker , and or corse be covered by the warranty company




catch 22 , ask the warrenty company to tell you which garage to go to , where you can have the part fitted (with warranty) and the full labour costs paid.


much as the garage found it , they hav,nt actually done any work on the car yet
