I've just tried to contact my IFA (admittedly for the first time in a couple of years....) and discovered they have moved offices to a town 30 miles away! ....and without letting me know......
One of the reasons for choosing them was convenience for meetings etc....
I'm looking for recommendations for an IFA in the Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford area.
I've been on unbiased.com but always like to have personal recommendations as well if possible....
Can anyone help?
Thanks as always.....

Good job you are not in Norfolk. 30 miles is normal travel.....and without letting me know......
Were you on an ongoing servicing contract with them? If so, not telling you was bad form. If not, then why should they tell you?I've been on unbiased.com but always like to have personal recommendations as well if possible....
That site is not the right unbiased. That is a commercial firm using the same domain name effectively pretending to be the search directory.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
