    I disagree, because it seems you DID say something at the time.

    I would write TODAY, saying you have now had an opportunity to take the jeans off and inspect the damage properly, and (describe the damage, and suggest the recompense you would like. A free meal might indeed be a low cost way for the premises to get back into your good books. :) )

    don't people pay designer prices for ripped jeans?
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
