As the two posters above have said, it's checked at check in. I've seen people turned away away from check-in desk on several occasions and sent off to go and apply for an ESTA when they've turned up at the airport without oneEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0
