The thing is i get a £2000 payrise in september so i would have been able to pay off at least 300 a month
Ring up the one with the lowest interest rate and tell them you want to transfer a balance from another card to them. Ask them what promotional rate they will offer for this balance transfer and ask them if they can increase the cards limit to cover the transfer. Then with all your debt on one card when the promo rate ends you can do the same thing onto your other card.
Be very careful not to increase your debt just because you've been given more credit! Let us know how you get on.Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345

I think i'm gonna try and find out why goldfish have turned me down first, i have enough money to cover payments and i have only one default on my two credit card payments due to a death and me forgetting. Now have DD to both of them.
I don't want anymore debt i'm trying to get rid but the interest on both is crippling 16% and 19% i'm paying more interest then the actual debt i owe :mad:0 -
The default is probably the reason as banks don't like this0

One default? thats mad!
oh well i'll give them a ring anyway!!0 -
I think you mean a late/missed payment rather than a default? No problem with one missed payment.Debt as at 12th July 2006 - £61,345
